Support Staff

Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available

We're looking for compassionate, dependable individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with developmental and physical disabilities. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available, with potential supervisory positions for candidates with relevant experience.

 

Please Note: Every individual we support has unique needs and goals. The responsibilities below are examples of common duties and may vary based on each person's individualized support plan.

 

Position Responsibilities

Personal Care & Daily Living Support

  • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, and meal preparation.

  • Encourage independence while providing support based on each individual's abilities.

Medication Assistance

  • Provide medication reminders in accordance with established care plans.

  • Maintain accurate medication documentation and report any concerns promptly.

Emotional Support & Companionship

  • Build positive, respectful relationships with the individuals you support.

  • Provide encouragement, companionship, active listening, and person-centered care.

Independent Living Skills

  • Teach and reinforce life skills that promote greater independence, including household tasks, budgeting, meal preparation, communication, and decision-making.

Community Engagement

  • Assist individuals with participating in community activities, employment opportunities, appointments, recreational outings, and social events.

  • Promote inclusion, confidence, and meaningful community involvement.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Complete accurate, timely documentation of daily activities, progress notes, incidents, and other required records.

  • Communicate important observations to supervisors and team members.

Health & Safety

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.

  • Follow all safety procedures, agency policies, and emergency protocols.

  • Identify and report safety concerns or changes in an individual's condition.

 

Qualifications

We're looking for individuals who are caring, dependable, and committed to helping others succeed.

 

Applicants should have:

  • High school diploma or GED (required)

  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently while following established care plans

  • Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills

  • Understanding of person-centered support principles (or a willingness to learn)

  • Ability to successfully complete a background check and all required training

  • Valid driver's license

  • Reliable transportation with current registration and insurance

 

No Experience? No Problem!

Previous Direct Support Professional experience is not required. We provide paid training and ongoing support to help you succeed in your role.
